Project description
The project involved increasing the capacity and upgrading the wastewater treatment plant of the Municipality of Saint-Isidore. The work included, but was not limited to:
Scope of work
Work performed
- Dismantling of the lift station, the flow measurement chamber and various overflow chambers and pipes
- Dismantling of the SMBR and off-site reinstallation of the tank as a fire-water reserve
- Replacement of numerous sewer lines (revision of the hydraulic network of the existing lagoons)
- Replacement of the sewer manhole
- Construction of a new reinforced concrete basin for the RBGS and aerated lagoon no. 1
- Construction of a service building housing the fine screening room and the electrical room
- Construction of a new lift station with prefabricated wet well
- Addition of aerators in two (2) existing lagoons
- Installation of an odour treatment system for the fine screening room
- Construction of a prefabricated UV disinfection chamber
- Replacement of the coagulant dosing system
- Replacement of the two (2) motors, pulleys and belts of the SMBR building blowers
- Installation of a generator with transfer switch
- Installation of various process mechanical equipment
- Installation of various electrical, ventilation and plumbing equipment
- Various excavation, backfilling and site grading work
- Sodding of certain areas
- Commissioning tests
- Site restoration
